SOCCER : F. C. BARCELONA IN AMERICA U.S. tour ( August 6 to 12 ) Our glorious team just arrived US on an American tour that began in Mexico. Los Angeles Coliseum sells out for Barça !! Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi, Márquez, Puyol and co are attracting crowds wherever they go in North America. Three days before kick off, there were already no seats left in the stadium where Barça will play CD Chivas of Guadalajara, the Los Angeles Coliseum, something the organisers claim has never happened before. ITINERARY AND MATCHES : Frank Rijkaard's side start the tour on Sunday, August 6, when they take on Copa Libertadores semi finalists, Club Deportivo Guadalajara. The game will take place in the Coliseum on day that will see the fans able to watch a double header as Barça play after Chivas USA have played New England Revolution. The event also marks the centenary of CD Guadalajara. On Wednesday, August 9, will play Club América, the current CONCACAF champions, in Houston. That will also be a double-header as Houston Dynamo are set to take on Los Angeles Galaxy. The game between Barça and América will be a dress rehearsal for the FIFA Club World Cup in which both teams will be competing in December. The tour culminates on Saturday, August 12,in New York when FC Barcelona face the New York Red Bulls in Giants Stadium. The game will see Bruce Arena, the former head coach of the USA national team, make his debut as the trainer of the Red Bulls I hope all enjoy watching our great team live as at the moment is the best soccer team in Europe  VISCA EL BARÇA!
