Well we got married on Oct. 26th and now are expecting a baby in late August or early September. Life could not be more perfect. Buena suerte, Jeffrey P.S. Amigos.com me permitió ser la muje más Feliz del mundo y conocer a mi esposo. Luego de un poco más de un mes de pertenecer al grupo de Amigos.com, recibí el correo de una persona maravillosa que me pedía que fuera su amiga y no dudé en abrir mis brazos a una nueva amistad. Aunque a mi me encantó su personalidad y su apariencia cuando vi su fotografía, todo comenzó con una amistad, linda y pura pero amistad. Algo me decía en mis adentros que ese homre me gustaba más de la cuenta, ya no me bastaba con su sola amistad, en verdad quería tener más que eso, pero creo que mi Amigo de entonces no lo entendía así. Me llamaba por teléfono de vez en cuando y creo que cuando escuchaba su voz el corazón quería salirse de mi pecho... Algunas veces quise hacerle saber pero de una manera muy sutil lo que sentía por él pero por miedo a mantener una relación en Internet yo no era totalmente clara y creía también que Angel (Mi Amigo) no consideraba ni siquiera la posibilidad de mantener una relación conmigo. pasó algún tiempo sin comunicarnos. Luego de un reencuentro, volví a sentior maripositas en el estómago, Angel no se había olvidado de mi... Para finales de noviembre del año 2002, Angel me propuso ser su pareja, pero la tremenda distancia que nos separaba me hacía creer que no funcionaría. Yo en Costa Rica y Angel en España, demasiada distqncia para mantener una relación aun contando ambos con la posibilidad de mantenernos en contacto de la misma manera que nos habíamos conocido, por la maravillosa red de la internet. Yo acepté la relación, sin embargo, aun dudaba de que pudiera llegar a feliz término todo, pero acepté porque hacía mucho tiempo que lo deseaba, ya me había enamorado de Angel y no quería perderlo por ningun motivo. La lucha comenzó el día que nos hicimos pareja, ese día comenzaron los planes para vernos y para estar juntos luchando por saltar los obstáculos que se nos vendrían. Planeamos toda la relación y nuestro encuentro por la internet y buscamos la fecha más oportuna para vernos y más aun, para casarnos. Convencer a nuestras familias de que la relación que decidimos llevar no fue fácil. Tanto los amigos y familiares de Angel así como los míos en algún momento quisieron convencernos de no seguir con lo que para ellos era un juego. A finales de Febrero del 2003 era la fecha que nos encontraríamos. Llegó el 28 de Febrero y luego de una angustiosa espera Angel salió de la puerta del Aeropuerto y allí nos vimos, fue tanto ó más maravilloso de como lo soñamos. A partir de ese momento entendí que era el hombre de mi vida y por el que debía luchar para hacer feliz. En el momento en que nos vimos Angel me ´dijo, Te Quiero, y los besos y abrazos vinieron. Al día siguiente, por la mañana, llegó mi mamá de Estados Unidos para conocer a Angel y el resto de mi familia estaba citada para ese mismo día por la tarde para informarles de la fecha del matrimonio. Desde luego, muchas personas se enteraron en ese momento de nuestros planes y lo aceptaron. El 08 de marzo, el mismo día de mi cumpleaños, nos casamos y allí comenzamos una vida juntos y jurándonos luchar cada uno por la felicidad del otro. Hoy Angel está en España trabajando y luchando por nuestro nuevo encuentro y yo estoy en Costa Rica, luchando también, por terminar de arreglar los papeles en la Embajada de España y pidiéndole a Dios que no se nos alarguen mucho los días para estar juntos otra vez y esta vez para siempre. En cuanto llegue a España volveré a escribirles para contarles cómo ha sido nuestro nuevo encuentro. 	DCBRkMan said My name is Jeff. I signed up not knowing what to expect, but I think maybe God used Amigos.com to help me out. Within a day or so of signing up I found Maria, in Columbia, South America. I liked her right away. However, I had no idea that she was coming to the states in about 3 weeks. I finally got to meet her on Oct.1, and I knew the moment our eyes connected that she was the woman I have waited for for 33 years. I am going to marry Maria and spend the rest of my life by her side. God Bless Amigos.com
	PeterKlapwijk said About us: I (Holland) did meet Claudia (Colombia) in march 2001 by www.amigos.com. Just a relation by writing, nothing else! But in october/november 2001 something beautiful started, so i decided to visit her in Colombia in march 2002. In april I returned and i started the visa for her, to live in Holland. In december that will be arranged, so yes, the Christmas I will with her and we will get married overthere. January 2003 she will live with me in Holland and after knowing she is speaking dutch, her daugthers will arrive here too, to have a nice family and also by having baby's. Estoy tan feliz de todo! 	patrialinda1 said Hi, thank you Amigos.com for giving me the opportunity of meeting my future husband. He is from Chile, and I currently live in Florida. He wrote to me in November, 2001 and this continued until June, 2002, when I decided to travel there for our first meeting. Alejandrino1950, is single 51yrs. old and never married, kind of hard to believe! It was wonderful, he was everything, he had said he was, honest, hardworking, compassionate, high moral standards and romantic. After a week in Chile, we traveled to Peru, to meet his family, who received me with much love and open arms. My two weeks there were spent meeting family, friends, partying, etc. Two days before my return to the United States, we became engaged in a private ceremony, composed of family and friends. The wedding date has been set for November, 2002. Please do not allow distance to hinder your opportunities, if I had I would still be sitting here waiting for Mr. Right. Oh, before I forget, I picked out my own engagement ring, and they are emeralds!! Best of luck to everyone!!

For just about every day, we wrote to each other through email. Getting to know each, we decided to meet. In March 2002, I finally got to meet the man of my dreams. At the airport, it was love at first sight. We both felt as if we had known each other for a very long time. For four wonderful weeks, my boyfriend and I got to know each other intimately and had a great time touring Washington State USA. Although my love is back in his country, he is planning on returning to me in August 2002 at which time we have reservations in Las Vegas. My love is everything I have ever dreamed of in a man...he is not only very handsome, he has a wonderful heart and is very romantic and affectionate. He sincerely cares about my feelings and my needs. And I really care about his feelings and needs. Being a gay man with very low self-esteem, I was extremely happy to meet a man who is not afraid to love and be loved and doesn't need to play games or need "one night stands". Although he cannot be "out" because he is afraid of being rejected by his family and friends, he is not afraid to show affection where and when appropriate. 	GUEST said Hello everyone, I have just returned from colombia and wanted to tell my story. I joined amigos about four months ago. I met several women and finally chose one to meet. I spent one week in cartagena colombia and had the best vacation I have ever had. The woman i met was 30 years old very pretty and nice. She met me at the airport and for the entire week she took care of me like no other woman has. She was very attenitive. i decided that she was the one for me and i have started the process of moving her back to the states. As far as colombia, do not let the media hype scare you out of going. I was very hesitant about this trip and after i got there I soon found that the people were great and the women were beautiful. cartagena was a safer place to be than my own city. I highly recommend the amigos website. It is cost effectiveand it is well known in south america. thank you tkinsey
