I'm a down to earth girl. I love the simple things in life.....family, friends, picnics, animals, children. I try to stick with the basic principles I grew up with....integrity, a strong work ethic, respect.
The older I get , the more I appreciate family and friends. I cherish each day and live it to the fullest. I'm blessed beyond description.
What I've learned is that Love isn't the romantic feeling one feels when one meets another. It's what develops after the initial feelings subside. That's the love I want to know and have. It's standing by someone when you want to leave. It's believing in the other's goodness and seeing their innocence and beyond the mask we all wear. It's opening up and putting yourself out there, and showing your vulnerabilty, and someone not taking advantage but understanding and loving and accepting you with all your faults and flaws.
My Ideal Person:
No one is perfect. I certainly am not, but life is too short and precious to spend it with someone who is unhappy, bitter, cruel, and angry. Who of us has not been hurt, betrayed, disappointed, and deceived at some point in our lives?
