Ladies, take off your sunglasses

I know I am not the only man on here who has noticed the obvious: Profile photos of the women members on here often tend to leave much to be desired. Not having checked out any men's profiles, I can only assume that many profile photos there are also often very....secretive, or unrevealing of the person, to say the least.
I don't get it. Putting the scammers aside, and God knows these sites (Amigos, Asia Friendfinder, Bigchurch, etc.) have many, many scammers (honestly I am not sure by now that MOST aren't), isn't the purpose on here to let people take a good look at what you look like, in one or a few or , in my case, some five gazillion photos?! Now some people on here choose NOT to submit any kind of photo at all,as if they were just putting out a classified ad in some kind of looking for romance publication. Fine I guess; have people get to know you first. So let me talk here just about the kind of photos I have been noticing on the profiles that do have photos.
First of all, there are half-face shots, either turned at an angle or half of the ladies face is covered with hair. Some profile photos show only the back of a ladies head, maybe as she stands on the ocean shore, gazing romantically out at the sea. You can't really tell if the gaze is romantic since you can't see her face!!
Then it seems like four out of every five women's profiles I look at have at least one photo where the woman is wearing sunglasses. In some cases there is only one photo and there are the sunglasses! I saw the profile of a woman here from Uruguay recently. Lovely, beautiful face in her main photo, while the other three I saw of her she chose to don the shades. Ladies (and gentlemen I assume as I said) what are you hiding? Who are you hiding from maybe? Now if you ARE a scammer, I get the sunglasses. Gotta make it harder for the law to catch up with you! LOL
Also in many of the photos, honestly ladies, another piece of advice: try to smile. You are so much more appealing when you do  No reason to look glum when trying to find a mate. A beautiful smile without a photo can be done well, but it is hard to do it right. Gotta find that middle ground between happy and glum
Other photos seem to be taken from a mile away. The lady is a little ant out there on that beach again, or in another locale. Might as well not submit a photo. There are several full-body shots on here, though if you take them don't be so far that your potential suitors can't make out your face!
These really tick me off: body shots, without the face. And in some cases when I mean body shots I mean a foot, an abdomen, a hand, or a rear end! Really? Come on....really?
If some of you out there wonder where your viewers are, your photos may just be turning them away. And for the record, for me, no photo at all means definitely no view.
These shots seem to be the rule , not the exception, on these sites. Hard to understand. Just some thoughts on photos. Thanks for reading.

Vamos a Peru!

I'm going Peru in the coming months. I think it will be in Decembber.
Looking forward meeting relatives in Lima and in Arequipa. The sad part is that I will go alone. Or it looks like it at least. Was thinking I might have a pretty Latina here in the U.S. might want go with me, but it is too late to get to know her well enough.
Anyway, now I am hoping to meet some lovely peruana while I am there and spend some time together. Time at the beaches sounds like a good idea! I heard there are some great beaches around the Lima area. Definitely looking forward to some great Peruvian cuisine! Love Peruvian food, favorite being Saltado de Mariscos. Might also try a good pisco for the first time in life. Always heard so much about pisco.
