I remember all of the snowy evenings sitting in a book store in Denver Colorado reading about the best places to live and retire in the world. I would fantasize about running away from corporate life and re-inventing myself in another country. I wanted to live and work in another culture and learn their language. After visiting many places, ironically I didn't have to travel far to fulfill my dream. All is had to do was cross the US southern border into Mexico. It took over a year to "check out" of the US and make my move. I found a small 450 year old colonial town in Mexico called San Miguel de Allende. I have now lived in this magical place for over 7 years ago. I love the culture, people, language and natural beauty of Mexico. I began selling real estate in San Miguel de Allende about 5 years ago and I really enjoy the work. I built two homes in San Miguel. I sold the first and still own the second which I rent. I am also a personal trainer in the local gym. Most of my time is spent working, managing my rental property, going to the gym and finding plenty of time to PLAY. San Miguel is unique. For a small town, it is rich with art, music, theater, restaurants.....you name it, its here. I really never thought that I would be single at this point in my life. I would love to meet someone and share the magic.
