Can you believe it? Here I am, only 46, financially stable, successful in my profession, a musician, 3 grown ren, and at complete peace with myself and my life. I cannot believe how happy and secure I am! But you know, even though I have reached this pinnacle, I realize that something is missing, something that is so meaningful to me, a close, intimate relationship. Someone to share life with.
The other day I was thinking about the changing of the seas, how the cold, grey shadow of winter gives way to sweet fragrance of Spring. Thats when I realized that I too am ready for next sea of my life. And that means finding someone special.
As Old Man Winter packs his bags, the great melt will reveal the wonders of the Colorado Rockies. One of my favorite places to see this inspiring beauty is the San Juan mountains. I know this little-known spot e between Durango and Silverton, it is so postcard perfect, you will think you have reached the gates of Heaven! You have to imagine standing before this placid lake, backdropped by snowcovered peaks reflected on the glassy water, as a rainbow trout breaks the surface to capture its dinner. It is truly one of the most spectacular and invigorating sites I have seen in Colorado!
I plan to go there soon, can I invite you along? There is so much to do in this mountain Eden. Cast out a lure, pitch a tent, break in your hiking boots, soak in the view from atop a saddle, or simply click through a few rolls of film. Next, is 4-wheel journey to a ghost town. This place is so high, secluded and quiet, you can almost hear the spirits in the wind, leaving you to envision what a difficult life they led, filled with immense pain, hardship, and struggle.
Care to join me? As I said, I hope to find a special per to share life with. Could she be you? Email me right away. But first, Id like to take you to open mike at my favorite café, to hear talented local musicians play rock, blues, and folk while we enjoy some coffee or wine. If after that, we find each other harmless, we can talk about this mountain secret in the San Juans, as well as some other great things to do in this wonderful state! Care to join me?
My Ideal Person
I like to keep this simple: I am not looking for a specific person. We'll either hit it off or we won't. Keep it simple, keep it easy, keep it light, and keep it fun, and we'll just see what happens. Don't you agree?
